As a glass artist since 1976, my experience spans the past 35 years and has included creating and designing original works, as well as all the various stages of the creative process. My medium includes stained glass, mosaic and most recently mixed media and repurposed glass art styles. My “Recaptured Tempered Glass” line is earth conscious and eco-friendly. Each piece is made from over 80% recycled materials, which guarantees each piece to be a unique original.
It was a chance Glass Art class in the 70's which ignited my passion. From that moment in time I began to experiment with and grow to appreciate the constant flow, movement and light creations that are the mesmerizing traits of glass. As a Northwest native, my work has been showcased in art galleries, wineries, golf courses, and specialty shops across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California, including a window of the Oakland Raider's logo hanging in the Oakland Coliseum. As of ski season 2014 my recaptured glass skis went international heading from the ArtWorks Gallery in Sandpoint, Idaho to a new home in Scotland.
As a member of numerous artist guilds, I participate in many seasonal art shows, charity events and have provided Trophy Award Windows for numerous west coast golf tournaments and currently accept private commissioned work.
